On the morning of Thursday, 7th December 2007, highly popular musical duo Boris Loves To Boogie set up their equipment in the Gymnasium of the Suneden Special School at Mitchell Park, South Australia. This gig was unusual in that the audience consisted of several dozen children with various intellectual disabilities, including Down's Syndrome and Angelman's Syndrome.

The boys are used to playing to packed houses of baby-boomers eager to Rock n Roll, but this was a special occasion. Many of these children would rarely get to attend such an event.
Lead vocalist and sax player Graham Lawrence loves children. He drives a bus for the school and he was willing to donate his time to give the kids a unique experience. Ace guitarist and fellow band member Doobie Whitehorn was just as willing to take part.
Of course, top-class Rock n Roll music is wasted without dancing, so good mates Gareth and June came along to give the children a display of 1950's Rock n Roll dancing, something many of them would never have seen before.
Once the music began the kids - and the teachers - wasted little time in getting involved. They may not have spun like the pro dancers did but they tried their best. It was an hour of solid fun for the children, teachers, musicians and demonstration dancers alike.
