Demonstrated by Sandra & Trevor
This move has many different names. I call it the whirlygig. Whatever you call it, it is a spectacular and very popular move which is quite easy to perform and looks great when performed by a relaxed couple working well together. Here we captured Sandra and Trevor demonstrating it at a Going Places With Gareth Singles party on a Sunday afternoon.
The move begins with the couple facing each other, holding opposite hands i.e. The man's right hand holds the woman's right hand and his left hand holds the woman's left hand so that the hands are crossed over. Most importantly, the right hands are above the left hands, or else the move simply won't work. The lady then turns clockwise with her hands above her head until she completes a full spin and is again facing the man. Now the left hands are above the right.
